Overview
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) builds on the foundation of Basic Life Support (BLS), emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. The hands-on instruction and simulated cases in this advanced course are designed to help enhance their skills in the recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute arrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndrome.

Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant will be able to:

  1. Recognize and manage patients deteriorating to or in cardiac arrest
  2. Demonstrate effective communication in deteriorating and cardiac arrest patients
  3. Recognize the impact of team dynamics on overall team performance
  4. Manage acute coronary syndrome and stroke
  5. Demonstrate airway management skills
  6. Apply related pharmacological interventions.
