Overview
It’s never too early or too late to emphasize the benefits of nutrition for reducing chronic disease risk. Establishing healthy habits at any life stage can lead to healthier futures and success could start with something as simple as fresh avocado. Discover the power of avocados in developing sustainable nutrition habits for your patients and clients to support well-being through different life stages including adulthood and an aging population. Join Kristy and Jackie for this webinar for the latest avocado nutrition research, valuable counseling strategies, and timesaving, family-friendly culinary tips to enjoy more nutrient-dense foods like avocado.

Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant will be able to:

  1. Describe key health and nutrition research on avocado consumption as it relates to diet quality and overall intake of important nutrients in adulthood.
  2. Explain how avocados can support nutritional recommendations for different life stages in young adulthood and beyond.
  3. Recognize the role of healthcare professionals in promoting healthy eating habits to reduce the risk of chronic diseases and improve health.
  4. Provide practical culinary tips and nutritional strategies to educate patients on food preparation to include avocado as a source of essential nutrients.
