Overview
Updates in Urology: Practical Solutions for Everyday Urologic Challenges is a one-day educational program designed for general urologists and primary care physicians. This live conference will provide evidence-based updates and practical strategies to address common urologic conditions encountered in daily practice. Through expert-led lectures, interactive discussions, and case-based panels, participants will gain valuable insights into the latest advancements in urologic care, enabling them to enhance patient outcomes. Topics will include recurrent UTIs, male and female urinary incontinence, lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS), sexual dysfunction, hormone replacement, microhematuria, and kidney stones. The program will conclude with a keynote session on quality of life in urology, emphasizing patient-centered care. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with peers and specialists, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration between primary care and urology.

Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant will be able to:

  1. Improve diagnostic accuracy and treatment strategies for recurrent UTIs, incorporating antibiotic stewardship and non-pharmacologic approaches.
  2. Evaluate and manage male LUTS, including urinary incontinence and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), with an emphasis on minimally invasive therapies.
  3. Enhance the management of female urinary incontinence, integrating physical therapy, pharmacologic treatments, and surgical options.
  4. Recognize and address sexual dysfunction in both men and women, utilizing the latest therapeutic approaches.
  5. Discuss the role of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) in men and women, balancing risks and benefits in clinical decision-making.
  6. Engage in an interactive, case-based discussion to refine problem-solving skills for complex urologic cases.
