Overview
The purpose of this course is to provide updates for primary care providers regarding diagnosis and management of common gastrointestinal conditions

Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant will be able to:

  1. Describe the updated guidelines for the diagnosis, treatment, and surveillance for Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease and related complications
  2. Increase understanding of commonly-utilized dietary and pharmacologic interventions for chronic gastrointestinal conditions
  3. Recognize best practices for management of disorders of the gut-brain interaction, including IBS, chronic constipation and functional dyspepsia
  4. Recognize the role of the PCP in diagnosis and management of chronic liver disease
  5. Identify updates for colorectal cancer screening methods
  6. Understand implications of GLP-1 agonists and anticoagulants in patients undergoing GI evaluation
  7. Identify pharmacologic and nutritional strategies in IBD care
  8. Define the role of the PCP in the diagnosis and management of chronic pancreatic disease
