Overview
The course is a full day conference on clinical nursing scholarship, including lectures and papers on evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and research.

Objectives
Upon completion the learner will:

  1. Recognize clinical nurse opportunities for the scholarship of evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and research.
  2. Discuss how to implement projects and use evidence in the clinical setting.
  3. Appraise nursing project scholarly paper and poster presentations.

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by MedStar Health. MedStar Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
