Overview
The Georgetown Business of Medicine Internet Enduring course seeks to address that deficiency in oncology training by introducing trainees to topics like medical billing, contract negotiation, and practice management. In doing so, we hope to prepare physicians for the real world and allow them to make educated decisions when planning their future endeavors.

Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant will be able to:

  1. List the key elements of a contract
  2. Determine the relative importance of location, compensation, schedule, and working environment of different job opportunities
  3. Define BATNA
  4. Integrate different strategies to successfully negotiate a contract
