Overview
Grand Rounds provides a venue for the healthcare team to learn with, from, and about each other by developing continuous lifelong learning through lectures and case discussions on relevant topics, as well as current research. MedStar Health's quality and performance data is used to drive educational content.

Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant will be able to:

  1. Practice of inter-professional mutual education, where each profession educates learners in other disciplines of current practices in his field and scientific rationale for these advances.
  2. Develop a personal habit of continuous lifelong knowledge acquisition with direct applicability to patient care, replacing old methods of care and procedures with new proven approaches that will improve patient outcomes.
