Mental Health Support for the Healthcare Workforce - Introduction to virtual reality and its applications to mental wellbeing

This training series focuses on the unique challenges facing healthcare workers as they navigate complex stress work environments. Participants will receive training, resources and strategies to support the mental health and wellbeing of healthcare workers.

1. Engage in continuous professional/interprofessional development to enhance individual/team performance.
2. Educate learners in other disciplines of the current practices and scientific rationale for these advances in the field.
3. Review best practices and guidelines to develop strategies and apply these in current professional practice.

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by MedStar Health. MedStar Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
