The MedStar Health International Colorectal Disease Symposium is designed to offer a comprehensive exchange of the current leading topics in colorectal surgery. Leading experts from around the world will discuss major advances in rectal cancer, advancing patient outcomes through techniques and technology, new frontiers in the management of inflammatory bowel disease, and challenges and solutions in advanced colorectal cancer. Recurring themes include multidisciplinary team care, cost-effective adoption of new technology, shared decision making, and education. Ample time has been allocated for discussion, questions, and answers.

In addition, registrants are encouraged to attend the International Society for Fluorescence Guided Surgery Society annual meeting at Georgetown University on Saturday, June 20.
