This dynamic two-day conference brings together speech language pathologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and recreational therapists to foster collaboration, share evidence-based practices, and explore emerging trends in rehabilitative care. Designed to enhance clinical expertise and interprofessional communication, the conference will feature engaging presentations, case-based learning, and poster presentations led by experienced clinicians from all clinical areas across MedStar National Rehabilitation Network.

Participants will delve into topics such as neurorehabilitation, ICU care, sport rehabilitation, cancer rehabilitation, and innovative technologies in therapy. Emphasis will be placed on interdisciplinary care planning and strategies for improving patient outcomes across diverse clinical settings.

By the end of the course, attendees will have strengthened their collaborative skills, expanded their therapeutic toolkit, and gained practical insights to immediately apply in their practice.

Accreditation

This course has been approved by the Maryland Board of Physical Therapy Examiners for 11.75 contact hours. Course ID# 2025-893 expiring 8/14/2029.

The Maryland Board of Occupational Therapy Practice has reviewed the documentation and will 15.25 contact hours applying to occupational therapy principles and procedures (COMAR 10.46.04.02 (7)(8)) for the completion of this program. The course number is 2025:0087 expiring on 12/31/2025. Courses which are not approved for principles and procedures may still be utilized by the individual licensee toward 4 hours for role related activities for COMAR 10.46.02 (9), at the discretion of the individual therapist.
